Biography

Francesc Gavara holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering. His doctoral thesis was on the technical management of water meter stocks, focusing on water meters metrological performance. He has been a Water meter Task Group Coordinator of the AEAS III Commission and a member of the Committee of Metrology and Calibration of the Spanish Association of Normalization (UNE).

Francesc is the Head of the Water Meter Department of FACSA, one of Spain's major water supply companies. He has recently finished his Executive MBA studies at ESADE Business School, with international academic stays at different universities such as Aalto University (Helsinki), HEC (Paris), Shanghai Jiao Tong University or Georgetown University (Washington).
